High heels on, glamor off: In the new RTL+ reality series, 12 well-known reality contestants trek through the jungle of the greenest country in the world: Suriname.
Suriname is a small state in South America, 93% of which is covered in rainforest. The strongest queens of reality TV fight with and against each other and live under the open sky in the middle of the rainforest. Together they hit the jackpot, but only one of the 12 queens has the chance to win prize money of up to 50,000 euros. They play for money and for their place to sleep: the winners fill the team's coffers and sleep in the luxury camp, while the losers go to the loser camp - without any luxury at all.
Reality stars Emmy Russ, Patricia Blanco, Carina Spack, Jasmin Herren, Theresia Fischer, Marlisa Rudzio, Ricarda Raatz, Vanessa Nwattu, Sandra Sicora, Claudia Haas and mother-daughter team Danni Büchner and Joelina Karabss, who are taking part in a reality show together for the first time, will be embarking on the adventure of a lifetime. The show will be hosted by Filip Pavlovic, who won "Ich bin ein Star - Holt mich hier raus" in 2022 and is therefore predestined to accompany the queens on their trek through the rainforest as jungle king.
The format is on an international conquest course: in the Netherlands, "Reality Queens of the Jungle" by Warner Bros. for Videoland was the most-streamed show on all platforms at the beginning of 2023. The "Reality Queens" also went on air in Spain and Finland in 2023.
"Reality Queens - Auf High Heels durch den Dschungel" is a production by Warner Bros. International Television Production Deutschland GmbH for RTL+.
